a. Postmodern in my words would have to be more of a concept art more than a realism art. It is not clear in many standards.
b. Feminism is nothing if not complex according to Hilde Hein and in definition of postmodern is that it is not clear so in terms postmodernism is not complex either. Also in the earlier days women were overpowered by men so women were not looked upon as leading artists.
c. Paul McCarthy is the most post modern to me because his message is not clear but it makes me think the most. On the others it was almost to obvious to me but I like theirs also.

Formalism
a. Formalism is almost the opposite of realism. Formalism is many forms put together to form what people call art.
b. They are all very good artists but in my definition of formalism I would have to pick Kadinsky because he is very abstract in is his images and I get a really emotional feeling from his art.
c. Malevich's artwork fits into formalism because the artwork is different forms put together to form art in some way or form. Also it is abstract and has alot of emotion also.

Expressionism and Cognitivism
a. Expressionism is the questions that we ask art such as why do we make art or what is the emotion in this piece? It is just the feelings we get from a piece or what the artist tries to relay to us. Cognitivism is in my thoughts is what the artist is trying to teach us though his art work. The differences between these two are that Expressionism is what we feel and Cognitivism is what we learn from the art piece.

Realism
a. Realistic art to me is an art piece that does not need to be defined and you can tell what it is and that it looks like you can go up and touch whats on the paper.
b. Plato's outlook on realism isn't the world around us but the world we believe exists. Plato gives a notion of the ideal Form of a bed, which really exist somewhere but cannot be seen by humans. He also believes that art can and does in engage us emotionally, often to the detriment of our being able to reason clearly, obtain true knowledge, and act morally.
d. Aristotle believes that realistic art is what you see in front of you and what is in the real world.
e. No, because it is realism in a way that is sexually.
f. In artistic manner, obscene images may be betrayed as love, togetherness, or passion. But if obscene images are used in the wrong way then yes it would be mor vivid than violence or poverty.
g. Chris Norris's artwork is similar to my art piece cause he uses the persons identity to define the piece. He also uses the persons body to express the art within it.
